Hi all, i've read on here a few times about how great and courteous French drivers are.
Well twice now this week i've been passed by a French bus driver(happened between Radstock and Peasedown St John) and both times hes given me about 2" of room. Now i'm used to this but it's still a bit un-nerving. Mostly drivers(English) are great but this French guy is guna get an earful if i catch him today

But he's living in England though, right?
It's all down to the licensing system. After going through the whole rigmarole (speling?) of getting my Spanish driving license, I've seen how they include a section on overtaking cyclists and the fines you can get if you don't do it properly.
I now think that all the campaigning in the world won't get English/American/Australian drivers to change after they already think they know how to drive. You have to educate them while they are receptive new drivers, not after the fact.0 -
No this is a French coach with French licence plate, i suppose they're staying round Radstock-ish area and travelling to see the baths etc. Never the less i'm leaving a wee bit earlier today so hopefuly i'll beat him back anyway, what with traffic etcwinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
