RLJumper this morning, coming up to a light controlled ped crossing, 3 cyclists approaching of whom I am the last.

The man in front of me stops as he and I have done at every red light for the last 5 miles, the 'lady' decides that she will swerve around the ped waiting to cross who is pushing a bike with a child on the back.

Only problem is that the 'lady' cyclist does not see the five year old hidden behind her mother and ends up running into her. No damage was done other than to scare the child witless and to make one very angry mother.

An angry mother who perhaps should not let her child cycle across busy roads even when the man is green - but still…….as she said to the cyclist - stop, that is what red lights are for.

Bl00dy lucky it wasn't one of my little ones they run into as I'd have torn into her proper.......
I felt guilty enough once for nearly hitting a women with her daughter who tried to cross a busy main road by poking their heads and then emerging from between queueing vehicles, I was filtering down the right and just thankful I was covering the brakes! I managed to come to a complete stop and un-clip both feet!
    Who's the daddy?

Yeah, being last in a queue is the worst - should have taken some scalps and been first at the crossing.....;-)

Seriously; bad news about kid - bloody lucky it was not more serious. There are some people out there with no observance, decorum or anticipation.

3 cyclists approaching of whom I am the last because I haven't quite reeled them in for a proper scalping yet.

Fixed that for you. You're welcome.
Today is a good day to ride
