I brought a bottom of the range Pinarello Surpirse some years back - I love how it looks and how it rides - it is so stiff and responsive - ok its twitchy but I can live with that.

I am now considering a new bike - but can't finance a carbon pinarello - I have thought of the wilier izoard and the Kouta Kharma - but just wonder would these be a downgrade from the pinarello ? -

What bike has anyone brought after having a Pinarello ?

both those you mention are probably better bikes than the Pinarello. Times move on and the Surprise was the basic alu frame.
Since my Pinarello (alu Paris) I've a had Colnago/Trek/leMond/Serotta

If you're thinking about an Izoard have you considered an FP3?

I have set my self a budget of £1800 max - Im kinda hoping the izoards get reduced later in the year (as they did last year) - the FP3 - I beleive rrps at £2500 ...it looks a fine bike though (if you see it cheaper let me know !)

    I have a Pinarello F3:13, the older FP3 model.

In answer to your question: "what's after Pinarello?"

    I'd say: "custom geometry".
