    I've read the spiel on wiki, but it seems to have nothing at all to do with England?!

    On the other hand, there have also been calls to replace St George as patron saint of England, on the grounds that he was an obscure figure who had no direct connection with the country.

    I for one shall be running the colours today!

    Got my England rugby shirt all ready to go, and as soon as the doors to that pub open I am there (after a hearty breakfast of course!!)

    We were talking about St George and I quipped that, among other things, St George is the patron saint of syphllitic people (true).


    They laughed and boss asks, "who's the patron saint of computer programmers?".


    I googled it, fell of my chair, picked myself up and answered, "Isadore of Seville, who's also the patron saint of computers, computer users and the internet" :lol:

    last nights do was pretty good, the mess was pretty packed and the usual habit of blokes skiving off early to go and play on their consoles was averted. bit of a hangover now though.
