Looking around for some decent wheels for as cheap as possible (around £100). Looking at the 08 Fulcrum 7, 08 Mavic aksium or some Handbuilt, anyone with recommendation/other options?
I know this has probs been asked repeatedly, but i looked through the threads for a while and couldn't find the answer i was looking for.
thanks

Difficult at that budget!
I'd trawl the classifieds / eBay for some second hands for that budget. Depending on what you are going to be using them for I'd recommend some handbuilts...0 -

Prices have gone up recently on some of these - if you could go to around £130-140 ? might be a bit more choice - 09 Aksiums, Racing 7's, R550's / WH5600's, RS10's/RS20's - all competent usable budget wheels - again, might have to go to 130-140-ish though, depending on what you choose.0 -
you'll struggle to find decent handbuilts at that price point. I'd trawl s/hand, as suggested, and maybe up the budget on the factory wheels, as Mettan says. The new Aksiums look good, and you may also find some bargains on the NOS older Aksiums.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
