hey guys
i have had my bike stolen recently, it was a Lombardo Yakhchal 450 Bike, very nice bike as it was my first and it got me into off road mountain biking. Sadly and annoyingly that has come to a temporary halt,

So what im asking for is advice for a new full suspension mountain bike of a budget of about £300, i have seen a Saracen Raw 2 for sale but there are mixed reviews on it, im tempted to buy another lombardo, but im completely clueless on the subject which is why im hoping you guys will be able to help me out,

Any advice please get in touch

Thanks
Si

I would not bother with full suss at £300 unless you can get some crazy second hand bargain. Forks, frame, rear shock will all be pretty awful at that price range.

You'll get a far better mountain biking experience if you go for a hard tail given your budget. If you really really must have a full suss, then the Decathlon Rockrider 6.3 for about £360 is as low budget as you should go. I'd still say go for a hard tail though.

Check out the fuss suss and hard tail stickies at the top of the Buying Advice forum.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
  • where would i be able to get this bike from? i have tried ebay and a few other sites and come to a dead end.

whats the difference between a hard tail to a full suspension bike?

    Thanks
    Si
