Riser bar advice

Looking to buy a new Truvativ Stylo riser. What consideration should I give to bar length and rise? The bar has 20, 30 and 40mm rise options and 620mm and 680mm length option. How do I choose???

The use would be trail riding.

    Being truvativ, the longer bars will probably have shortening marks- generally the centres of both bars will be the same and the outer parts will be longer or shorter, so I'd say get the long ones and if you don't like it, you can always shorten them.

    Rise is very much personal unfortunately so no easy answer there. Depends on you, your bike, your stem, your typical riding...
