Hi everyone,

Just purchased a cheap Kona Lana'i from an auction, not sure of the year, its in quite good condition, but the front end squeaks badly and I think it probably needs a service, I'd rather do all this myself, is this easy to do and investigate???

Also, is it worth it?? Not sure how much the bike is work, I just thought it might make a better commuter than my Spec Hardrock which I'm thinking of selling.

Thanks in advance!

Felix

    so what is squeaking?

make model and year of the fork.

Or if you can not see the info on the fork post a picture.

Value ? whatever you paid for it as that is what you thought it was worth.

Ok I'll try and get some pics........

    I paid £45 for it.

Its squeaking at the front when you ride it, turn etc....... The chain also sounds a bit clunky......
