I'm going to buy one of these. I did think that they were all that ‘distinctive’ Ribble blue.
I see from their bike builder that the frame is also available in black.

Has anybody got one in black. Does it look ok? Is the paint quality good? Resistant to stone chips etc.

Photo’s of a finished bike would be welcome. :)

I have a blue Ribble winter. It still looks great after 3 years, but the paint is a bit on the soft side.

Be aware that the black frame is a compact with a sloping top tube, unlike the blue which is standard.
  • Thanks Smokin Joe.

    The blue it is then.

Do you know what size you need? The sizing/geometry is a bit wierd with the Winter Trainers.

Mines got a 55cm TT and a 11cm headtube

  • Sorry for the delay with my reply Reddraggon.

I've been to the shop in Preston for a fitting. So I've had advice on the frame size and stem length. As you say it is unusual in comparison to my other road bikes.
