I,m looking at buying the gt avalanche 1.0,2008 model is 430 quid and the 2009 model is 540 quid.
The spec is slightly different but i dont know much about that side of things so what would be best for the money?
Also how many gears does it have? stupid question maybe but i am a noob.greatful for any advice.

Go for the 2008.
They have roughly the same spec, but with 200 pounds in your pocket, you can
transform the 2008 model.0 -
I believe it's a 27 speed.
I'd say go for the 2008 model too. Get the disc version if you can find it in your size.0 -
