New to these and I wondered if there is an alternative way to set up the gear cables so that they can run under the bar tape instead of out the sides of the levers (exposed). When I got my levers they didn't come with instructions and I haven't been able to find out on the net. I'm sure one of you will know.

    The only way to do it is to use some Nokon cables. These allow you to put more bend in the outer, but I'm afraid there will always be that first couple of inches of cable sticking out the side.
