Got myself a cheap Panasonic point and shoot last week, also shoots in HD.

Did a few shots and filmed a few berms and jumps at Brechfa this weekend on newly opened Raven.

We did Red (Gorlech) and Black (Raven) back to back, 7 hours in the saddle (we sessioned several places and f*cked about filming/photographing too), we worked out its about 44k, 1700m odd climbing and of course descending. Bloody knackering and I fell off too (twice) good fun though and well worth a visit. Best thing is, although you do some mega climbs, because there are lots of switch backs, doesn't seem that bad. Everyso often you look out over the valley and can't believe you got so high so quick. Some bad boy downhill and single track action, hence falling off and cracking a rib. :D

Here is my first video/editing experience:

Was chatting to a pro video editing / movie making friend of mine, apparently its best to compress the video into a Flash format before uploading it to Youtube, as their online compression / conversion engines do a pretty crappy job and make the frame rate choppy.

    Its slightly better on here:

But looks sweet before its compressed. Will work further on this, like I said, first time I used the camera, first time I used editing and first time I uploaded, lots to learn, but its fun! :)

    Thanks for feedback. :)
