Max height seat TCR Advanced SL - any Giant dealers on here?

Ok so may pull the trigger on a new frame - TCR Advanced SL in a medium (reach is good for me).
Trouble is I see the frame itself is a 73cm bb to top. Im a 79.5 inseam - Given saddles from rails to "leather" are 4cm - thats 77 cm - so the question is does the seat clamp allow a further 2.5cm of height diff - as its not flush with the top of the carbon?
No-one seems to actually have one in stock to ask (certainly not see around my way)...anyone who has one of these may also feel inclined to answer...thanks in advance

Maybe Ive answered my own question - found this on the website spec sheet
EXTRAS 2 ISP clamps provided: Regular 20mm & XL 40mm
maybe?? maybe not....
god its harder than you think to waste 2 grand on something you dont need and/or deserve......0 -

I'll post the one of french youth giving me a kicking as Im scoped up at the back of the etape 1 km up the ventoux0

Daft question, but does the 20 and 40mm refer to the height of the clamp or the range of adjustment. If it is the latter then you have to factor in the height that the clamp itself will add.0

Nice bike - but the integrated seat post seems to be a pain - I know it wouldnt fit into my bike bag for travelling. Good old seatposts have more adjustment and you can fly pretty easy with them.0

I've got an inseam of 80cm and my saddle height (Centre BB to Top of Saddle) is about 71.5cm, so why don't you think a 73cm seattube is enough?
Looks to me like you should have plenty of seattube......0 -
You have answered your own question. There are two ISP clamps available, the large one gives you 4cm of adjustment. They're amazing bikes, I just can't merit the extra costRacing for Fluid Fin Race Team in 2012 - www.fluidfin.co.uk0

Well I was told by the giant rep a couple of weeks ago that one clamp gives 20mm adjustment, the other gives 40mm. Why not ring up giant? They're dead friendly and should be happy to help you.Racing for Fluid Fin Race Team in 2012 - www.fluidfin.co.uk0

+1 on ringing Giant.
They are very helpful (in the UK anyway).
I bought a bike (SCR C4) from eBay early last year, it was advertised as a small and turned up with a small sticker on the frame, recently I have been trying to sort out a new bike and looked into my positioning on the bike and bike fit.
Once out with the measuring tape I discovered some discrepancies with the frame size and I gave Giant UK a ring, they then confirmed my new found suspicions that the frame was a medium.

I was given a prompt and helpful response when I emailed Giant:

I've just got a TCR Advanced C0 (2008 model), which is performing superbly so far.
Good luckWhere\'s me jumper?0 -
