Does anyone know anywhere in sussex that it is possible to get an Aluminun frame anodized? And has any one had this done and has an idea of cost?

There's an anodising company that advertises in streetfighters every month that have no problems with old metal, they specialise in ancient motorbike bits. Can't remember the name but I'll look it up when I get home. No idea if they can do a whole frame though, they might not be able to do such large parts.

If your frame has any cast bits (eg. the rear dropouts or the chainstay yoke) forget it. Castings won't take anodising.

Similarly you need to check that there are no steel thread inserts in the frame (like bottle cage bosses) - if there are it will f**k the anodiser's solutions up and you're likely to get a very hefty bill for replacement fluids...
