A simple observation

Meant to post this last week but I've only just remembered.
Whilst riding with a group in Derbyshire, we were going down a reasonably narrow road at about 18-20 MPH and a car to our rear was trying to get past. After about two minutes we were able to form into single file and the car was allowed by.
A passenger in the front leaned out of the window hurling abuse along the lines of
"You f**kin' w*nk*rs with the accompanying hand gestures. This was obviously brought on at the frustration of only being able to move at 18-20 MPH for a minute or two at the most.
Later in the ride we must have riden by a line of traffic at an absolute standstill which must have been a mile and a half long queueing up to get into Matlock (a place about as big as a postage stamp). But not one driver was remonstrating with the car in front for holding him up.
One of the reasons I never drive anywhere on a bank holiday, may aswell park your car on your drive and switch the engine on. At least you can get out and have a cuppa or go to the toilet at your convenience.
