    I'm happy Everton won, aren't they already @ Wembley?
    Only time I want Everton to win is when they are playing ushited, but I hope you go on & win it & we play you in the charity shield.

    Even worse, it's on ITV, which means I could accidentally switch it onto my telly.

    My gaffer at work is an Everton supporter (god knows why, he's never been anywhere near Liverpool). So that gives me a reason to not want them to do well.

    Just wanted to add my voice to the EFC fans on Bikeradar. Dreadful game on Sunday, but a great result. Hope we rest a few vs Chelski tomorrow night and keep them fresh for an exciting end of season.

    Clearly football is as much about emotion as it is about rationality. But you might be interested to know that your "full of overpaid foreigners, generally" comment doesn't apply to Everton. 8 of the 11 Everton players on the pitch at the end of the game were English.

    Hence the term "generally".

    While the toffeemen may have a fair amount of home grown players as do Aston Villa for which they should be applauded "generally" premiership teams have a majority of non-English players.
