Not what you'd call great. Theres feck all apart from some little trails behind the house.

But, theres a root lip I got a bit of air from, a hilly thing that you can roll down because theres nout up top and some rocks that are terrible for photos

Fun though :)

Found that my shifter knocks/rubs my thumb while riding so i'll change where it is.... could do with QR seat clamp too, the seat was too high and I forgot my park tool :(

edit: sorry for the no helmet pics. Its just behind the house and is really really lame

You can't really ride the rooty bit unfortunately. Its basically a 5ft mound of earth with trees round it.... 1 way up, 1 way down. so its a case of ride up - get off - turn around - roll down.
  • My son is looking at this over my shoulder, he pointed at each photo and said "he needs a helmet". That's a seven year old's opinion for you.

Nah, I wasn't really planning on doing anything... was with the GF (she was walking) so I was just rolling along.... checking the gears etc etc.
Just wanted to get a pic of the bike outdoors, which turned into a few "action shots" over the lamest/tamest ground you could ride a bike over... you could ride a road bike down where I was!

    Your trails look too smooth.
Here, you'll wish to throw the bike in garbage because of the roots.

Nice air btw, considering the fact that I can't really spot the kickers.
    Nice scenery too. :D

Here's some 4min video too see how the trails in Macedonia look.

  • lol, its def not a trail... its a path :D

Just somewhere to mess about.. only place round here without getting on the train for 45mins.

Hopefully be going to esher shore next week or the week after (dissertation is due in a week tomorrow so riding takes a back seat or a bit :()

Nope i dont care if people do or dont.

But it is always the innocent "safe" area that get most people.

Well, you're correct, it's a path. We still don't have bike trails. :(

About the bigger tree on the third picture, it would be really good if you can pull up
bunnyhop to tailtap on the tree and back on the trail. :D

And I still can't figure it out how did you manage to pick up that air almost on flat.

I cannot believe that you frequently knock the riding of mbuk/bikeradar and then come up with this sort of horrible material. I'd be embarrassed to post pictures of myself riding "off-road" without a lid, pikey-tastic.

I knocked them when exactly? never nocked their riding... the magazine content maybe.

Oh, and I never said they were off road. if you care to read the OP and some of my other threads you may understand a bit better before you start your pointless posting. I have said I should have worn a helmet.

I was checking the setup of my bike (a custom build that I had finished 2 hours before) and wanted a few photo's in the process.

Oh, and as for pikey tastic... i'd like to see you do any better with the lack of riding that there is round here. I was making use of what little there was.

Nice pics mate glad to see the hard work come together!

While I think wearing a lid is the sensible thing to do I can't help but be surprised and how many people want to jump down someone else’s throat about what they chose to do. Its personal choice and not illegal but then not the safest thing to ride without one either.

It's this kind of paranoid mentality that stops parents from letting their kids play out in case they get killed/run over/abducted and very much the vicious finger wagging I bloody hate. Forget about what other people do, if it feels great and safer to go out padded and helmeted up to the nines then do it. If someone chooses not to that’s up to them. I'd say making spiteful comments is more embarrassing just the sort of stuff we get from hill walkers that think the countryside is for them and them alone.

Rant over....get out and ride and stop worrying about other people.
