hi, im in the latter stages of a school project, but am struggling to find the last bit of info that i need. basically does anyone know/ can anyone measure the max width of a set of large forks, eg boxxers, fox 40's or some other downhill type of fork. the only info i can find on the internet is about stanchion sizes, not the width of the lowers/ overall fork.
thanks
thanks

I'd assume they'd be 135mm to match standard 135mm hubs? someone will correct me if i'm wrong...0

Spacing or lower leg diameter?
Inside dropout spacing on most of front forks is 100mm - howver 20mm axle forks are usually 110mm.0 -
the maximum width, so i guess thats the same as the spacing plus the diamters of the 2 leg lowers.0

they all vary. different makers use different set ups.
But you can find tech drawings in the tech sections of most of the makers webbys."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
