Saddles and sizes

Hi
I recently posted regarding changing saddles and think I will opt for a cut out.
I've measured my sit bones (using the corrugated cardboard method!) and it comes out at around 120mm. I know there's no correlation between this measurement and height/size, but this strikes me as being narrow.
However, if it's correct, should I then be looking at 130mm wide saddles?
Thanks

Sure I saw a recommendation somewhere (?) that you need to add approx. 10mm PER SIDE to the sit bones measurement, so that`ll make it around the 140 mark, which is 143 width with a Specialized saddle. Maybe worth emailing a Spesh saddle supplier and telling them your sit bone measurment and see what they recommend you buy?Jens says "Shut up legs !! "

If you find a decent Specialized dealer, they will have the high-tech sit bone measuring device (actually it is a piece of memory foam that you sit on with your legs held up in a very undignified position for a couple of minutes  ) which leaves an imprint that can be measured.
