looks bad though"you tried your best and failed miserably. the lesson is never to try"0

Yes, worse than I thought - hope the brace is just precautionary

looks quite serious for schleck...legs moving though...but they're taking a long time...neck or head injury?0
-
Looks really serious.
Especially for Frank S. The amount of time they took to get him in the ambulance and all that neck bracing,
Matt Lloyd will be out for some time, too, I fear."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
he moved his legs, so not coma ....which suggest not a knock out blow to head...but neck???0
-
I just saw on CN commentary there'd been a crash, what happened?0
-
Freire pushed on the front and schleck and lloyd tangled - both in neck braces. looks really serious...awaiting update.0
-
"no serious" injuries for schleck0
-

Broken pelvis for Lloyd. Out for months.0

It's infamous for the twisting course and narrow roads. I know fighting for position is part of the game but the route is particularly dangerous. For the sake of the riders, some of the street furniture - and perhaps the route - needs to be scrapped.0

Pretty dull classic that one! I fell asleep!
Shouldn't scrap the course. It's always been like that, and that's what makes the course difficult. Not the climbs, but the narrow streets etc. More people crash in Roubaix than Amstel but I don't hear complaints about that!Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0 -
Robert Millar called it "the race of a thousand corners".0
