Not me, can't stand it.' From the sharks in the penthouse,

yep - palmed the kids off into the kitchen with a coupe of DVDs
Been a decent race between the safety cars!0 -
Quite glad I didn't go for a ride now, not the demolition derby I was expecting, seems they might be able to drive after all
Go Button!0 -
Great battle between Webber and Button right now for 2nd place. Also Hamilton is working his way up, currently in 4th, I think the wet conditions are suiting Hamilton most of all.0

Chap next door races his car (Donnington today) & if I never have to listen to listen to any more innane reving of engines, or here that Swiss bloke Hammilton mentioned again I'll be a happy man.' From the sharks in the penthouse,

Whats a grand prix?! I have heard of a giro or TDF......!0

Its been a great season so far dominated by teams that would have been minnows in previous seasons, like Brawn and now Red Bull (formerly Jaguar). Makes a refreshing change from the old Ferrari vs McLaren vs Renault battles.0

Which safety car won?
Red Bull used to be Sauber, didn't they? Or were they Jaguar in the middle? Jaguar were the Stewart team before they became, Jaguar, right? Not that it matters, as apparently they're British according to the anthem played on the podium, in the same way Lewis (3 spins, was it? Hardly masterful wet driving) is Swiss...0 -
BMW used to be sauber, but sauber were heavily sponsored by Redbull.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
Voodoo Bizango - 2014 - Dead - Hit by a car
Vitus Sentier VRS - 20170 -

I don't know, it's still just Ross Brawn vs Adrian Newey isn't it? Those two have been battling for something like 17 years now. The names change but it's the same battle.
The more things change the more they stay the same I guess.biondino wrote:Red Bull used to be Sauber, didn't they? Or were they Jaguar in the middle? Jaguar were the Stewart team before they became, Jaguar, right?
Sauber is now BMW Sauber. Red Bull is the old Jaguar team, which was the Ford semi-works team before that, but in reality was always just a grown up version of PSR, who used to dominate F3/F3000 before moving up. All that is just a Bernie-ism though, he limited the number of teams so new entrants had to buy an existing team, thus making the existing teams artifically more valuable. That and a bit of floor space is all Red Bull really bought.0 -
I won't watch it anymore , teams getting punished for whatever & Ferrari getting off for exactly the same thing & then they throw their toys out of their pram if they don't get their own way . It turned me (& countless others) right off , haven't seen it in a long good while now :!:Kona Scrap

I used to feel that way and I was half expecting Button's point to vanish into Bernie's back pocket and them be given to Massa. But I was wrong!
Massa and Kimi seem to be doing enough to ruin what little chance they had. that and the car breaking down on Sunday, meant it was a good day.
I do like it that Kimi had given up already after the two previous races, there's the fighting spirit Kimi, keep it up!0 -
I'm a Ferrari fan and I agree with that! Kimi just doesn't give a toss unless it's put on a plate. Felipe, bless him, doesn't think like that at all, but just makes one or two too many mistakes (even when his car works) to be a true great. I still love him though.0

I used to like F1, but now its a joke. Every time you think someone's won a race, some supposed rules transgression comes up, the governing body gets involved and the results are in doubt for months and your favourite driver, or the whole team, is thrown out.
Nothing like cycling.0
