Hi everyone, I am mostly training on mountains or big hills on weekends. I'd just like to know your thoughts on which wheels are good for climbing, a budget of £600. Thanks.

What sort of weight are you?

Dura Ace WH 7850 C24 CL.

I went from Ksyriums to these and love them! They are lighter than any of the Ksyrium range bt one of the other factors I find gives me real benefit is the quality of the ride.
They feel so smooth over rough roads, something to do with the carbon lamination process but they really are a gorgeous ride. The DA Hubs are a marvel too. They look cool as well, not as flashy as the Fulcrum Zeros or Shamal Ultras but very nice all the same.
Stiffness wise the Mavic R-Sys wheels are unbelievable stiff and again, ride well but I just couldn't get past the carbon spoke thing and went for the DA wheels.
The Fulcrums/Shamals are also very stiff and more aero than that R-Sys but give a harsher ride.
The DAs whilst not seeming as stiff as the others were still my choice, I have had no issues with them warping with my measly 1300 max watts...

They certainly are - I believe they're the same as those on my 7801SL (scandium) ones that I've had 2 years. I bought some cone spanners last year to strip down and regrease the bearings, but had to stop once I'd got them apart as the grease was still spotless after more than a year, and just put them back together. There's not a suggestion of play or stiction in the bearings yet. They saw a lot of rain through last year's summer as well. I've never seen anything so well sealed.

I've also never taken a spoke key to them in 2 summers and probably 6-7000 miles of use. Never a wobble.

    Awesome!
