Yesterday morning got on the bike to cycle in (as you do) and within 40 meters the heavens opened. By the time I got to work I looked I had attemtped to cycled the Thames.

Within 30 secs on the route home (at the end of the day) once again it started with the cats & the dogs only this time is was properly coming down, then about 25seconds later something twanged against my left calf. Looking down I saw the front derailleur cable had snapped just above the device & you will never guess what gear I was in. Granny all the rest of the way home grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Got home key in front door, twist key, key snaps. 25 minutes standing in the rain for my better half to get home (though my multitool came in handly I managed to retrieve the key residue from the lock).

For some reason an argument started between us a bit later and it turned into a semi-nuclear explosion, and I am not very popular.

Dammmmmmmmmmm the 16th of April, dam it to hell.

16/04/10 I am staying in bed.

Mind you graphics was more useful for the architecture degree....
'Twas Mulga Bill, from Eaglehawk, that caught the cycling craze....
