Ok I found the following on Edinburgh cycles' site.

Specialized SX Trail FSR 1 '08 for £999.

So will this be good for some downhill and or freeride.. bearing in mind I am no pro but looking for something to mess about with.

When I say downhill I don't mean Sam Hill expert level but more harder XC riding with fast rocky lines and drops of max 5ft.

Any advice?

    Fantastic deal - some good kit on it as well.

    I was going to buy it myself (before I bought the GT) but was too similar to the Quake.

    Those frames are awesome!

    oh and yes, it will be fine for what you want to do - I wouldn't do anything to extreme DH wise as thats not what its for and you dont have the travel, but for FR/Playbike/descents it will be fine!

    nice! I could never keep up with proper DH guys anyway, may get it and fire over to Fortwilliam's new intermediate DH track.. cheers ears :)
