Kona coilair 08

i've just bought a kona coilair 08, and havent purchased any new parts for it, i was wondering if anyone had one, and which parts if any they would recommend i upgraded?

    Why do you feel any need upgrading ?

    Why did you not buy a higher spec bike in the first place ?

    Why have you bought a new bike only to upgrade it?

    The only parts that you might want to upgrade are tyres, saddle, grips, and possibly bars+stem and maybe seatpost if you want a bit more layback.


    After that ride it for a bit to see where the weak points in the spec are in relation to your riding. If you're outgunning the fork then you'll need to do that, the the gears bug you change them, if the wheels are gash then replace. Etc.

    hah i really didnt think about that before i posted it, bascially i like the look and the spec of the bike, more importantly the spec, but i have read mixed reviews, i just wondered if there were any weaker "stock" parts that anyone who has ridden one, would advise i look at changing/upgrading. im intending to use it for freeride and some downhill.
