Orange P7 Pro

Hi there,
I'm new to mtb'ing and after much reading and test riding I've decided to buy an Orange P7 Pro.
There is the chance to add on a Performance pack which includes:
Thompson x4 seat post and stem
Gobi XM Saddle
Easton monkeylite bars (carbon)
The pack is an extra £180 plus the fact that you are already paying for the standard items.
Any thoughts on adding these items? I'm also concerned they might change the feel of the ride I have experienced on a standard pro...
Many thanks
Simon

keep the bike as it if you like the ride when you get in to the sport a bit more you might want to upgrade or buy a new bike
for the stadard part they will be fine upgrading these parts are not really the first parts i would upgrade0 -
I'd upgrade the rear cassette - the PG950 will eat through the Pro2 hub after a while. I'd get an XT.0

For about the same money (exactly the same when I bought my S) you can upgrade the Fox Vanilla to a Float RLC; would have thought that perhaps the more useful upgrade. Mind you, I upgraded to the Fox Vanilla and it has been great. Not sure what the Float would gain me.
Incidentally, you aren't paying for the standard items as well - the upgrade price should (in theory) be equivalent to the cost of the upgrade parts minus the cost of the standard parts. You won't get a Float RLC for a couple of hundred quid or less!
PS - the standard saddle is really nice too!Faster than a tent.......0 -
Great - thanks guys. Really helpful.
I'll let you know if and when a purchase is made!0
