Spelcialized Pitch Comp Sizing

Hey everyone! I am looking at getting a Pitch Comp and I fall dead on the line for either a medium or a large. What do you think about a setback post and a longer stem on a medium? Or would I be better with a large? Cant make a big bike small, but I could stretch a medium out a bit. I'm 5'10"/11" tall and the size chart changes at 5'11".
Riding will be mainly trails in Thetford, odd train/bike commute, and an occasional trip to Derbyshire.

Try them out. See the sticky at the top, there isn't any other way really.

Yeah, its a special order through Halfords because of the cycle2work scheme, so I cant ride one. But looking at the geomtry charts it seems like a nice size compared with my hybrid (Kona Dew Deluxe 58cm) Top tube is 1mm shorter on the Pitch and I like to be a little more spread out for on the road. Seat tube angles are around the same, but head angles differ a little so that will make seem a little shorter. But on the rough that suits me.

Maybe not at that shop, however there are many stockists of Specialized in the UK. Why not just go somewhere else and try them out for size ?

I'm 5'11" and went for the medium. The Pitch has quite a long wheelbase I think that's why I steered away from the large. I'm pretty sure I read about it in a review, either WMB or MBR.
Anyway no complaints so far, it's a fantastic bike.
You might want to change the seat though, ouch!

I'm 5'11" and ride a medium pitch with a slightt layback in the post (CB Joplin) and a 60mm stem.

Thanks for the info guys, the seat post and stem is probably the way I'll go.

I am 6'

I tried both medium and large and went for a large in the end. But it was a close run thing. Medium seemed a little too cramped for me tho
