You have all that and more in Turkey. Obviously, when it rains, the roads turn to ice.
Crashes everywhere.

I'm going to miss the cobbles classics. Certainly the most exciting part of the year for me. The Ardenne classics just don't do it quite as well.Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0

From cyclingnews....
3000 metres to race. Who is going to win this race? Remember, Cavendish is not racing
Sign of the times?

Petacchi. Winning a sprint. For a change.Note: the above post is an opinion and not fact. It might be a lie.0

bad crash involving McEwen, apparently. I didn't see it.
QS didn't really contest the finish.

Looked like McEwen put Greg VA into the barriers, but came off worst of all.
Boonan was also caught.....as was everybody else!"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Was certainly a heavy crash for many. Not a great finishing 'straight' at the best of times.
Various 'opinions' from the riders. Van Avermaet blamed Petacchi for coming across to the left on him, & McEwen said Van Avermaet was just too slow.
I think it was just a racing incident really. Van Avermaet went damn early with his sprint and didn't really find much speed to be honest. When Petacchi went past it was game over and McEwen wanted to squeeze by too...
The slow motion replay really showed one hell of a fall for McEwen. Lucky not to have broken anything but he's a tough old bugger.
In the end it looked damn easy for Petacchi. Even without the fall the only person who had any chance of beating him was McEwen.0
