Tub only, or are clinchers a possible? Just flat TTs, or is weight a factor?

If it was clinchers, I'd look at Reynolds Strike (fatbirds.co.uk), or Dalkiia SixZero if you want to save some cash.

If it is tubs, then have a look on Wiggle and see if they still have Zipp 808s on offer (£1100?). Also Easton EC90TT look the nuts, if over budget at £1150 and 'only' 56mm deep.

The PXs look good value, but they're heavy for a tubular if you'll be doing any climbing.

Not sure if they would fit your budget but Hed carbon 3 spokes are very nice. Fairly light and sturdy. No truing is ever required. I used my rear one on pretty much a daily basis
last year(just wearing out a tire I had glued on it) with no problems. Very satisfied.
