I've broken my bike *insert crying emoticon*

In my haste to fit my new minipump bracket under my water bottle cage, I managed to:

a.crossthread one of the rivnuts
b.make said rivnut spin freely in the downtube making it unusable
c. scratch my paintwork in the process

Replacing the rivnet, is it an easy job and will I need a special tool?
Can I do it myself or should I let my LBS do it?

I'm usually very good at this sort of mechanical thing but for some reason (probably tired and not concentrating) I messed big time up here

rivnut easy to put in with the right tool, but as you'll hopefuly only need it the once I'd let shop do it. Getting the old one out however can sometimes be a b***er as obviously it spins if you try to drill it. I've done a few in my time ( used to be a coachbuilder ) but when I did get them out it didn't matter what force I used as I was workng with heavy gauge steel & didn't matter about scratches etc. as they wouldn't be seen.

    Thanks
I went to my LBS after work yesterday and they said they can sort it. Unfortunatly they don't have the tool but they are going to get one in the next week and call me.
I guess I can live with just one water bottle for a week

If you can't find a LBS to do the job try a motorbike repair shop. They usually have the tools to extract/install riv nuts.
