Hi guys,
I picked up an old A.S Gillot bike from a family member and would like to upgrade a few bits and ride it now, being new to all this I'm not sure what I would really need to do.
Any advice would be great.
It an A.S. Gillott frame, with Rigida rims, Shimano Sugino gears and stuff and Weinmann Vainqeuer brakes. Not sure if it is any good, must be good enough for a complete beginner anyway
I hope it is ok to post a link to a few pics of it:

Thanks

A few links. The featured bike's was my mate's, he really rates them, it's certainly worth restoring, grease the bearings, check and replace brake blocks, cables and tyres (if needed) check the wheels for trueness and that the spokes are OK, then ride and enjoy0
