Chichester/Goodwood area

Anybody got any ideas of any riding around this area, probably only half a day or so ride ?

    If it's XC riding you're after there's loads just north of Chichester. Kingly Vale/Stoughton Down, further north theres the South Downs way and all the bridal paths off of that. Off to the East is Houghton Forest, which I've not riden but it's supposed to have some good trails. There's also QE Park which isn't that far from you either.

    If you want more detail, just say as there is a "cheeky" trail in Kingly Vale/Stoughton Down with some jumps/bearms etc.

    My girlfriend is doing a sponsored walk somewhere round the area and rather than do the walk with her, me and a couple of mates are looking for some riding, am looking for XC riding so will look at those options.
