old red dawes imperial?

about a year ago i picked up a old bike to see if i'd like road bikes and it's had a fair bit changed, but i still have no idea as to what bike it is, the frame has no makings, and has picked up a 'intresting' paint job at some point in it's life, the suntour svx derailers date to early 1986,



now it's no collectors piece but still be nice to know what it is, some one did say dawes imperial once, it's quite a big bike 25inch.
