Avalanche gt 2.o vs 3.o

Hello first post and requesting technical advice... :)
I currently have a Avalanche GT 2.0 and it all works well but has some frame damage due to an attempted theft,I can get hold of a GT 3.0 frame,so my question is are all the parts compatible?
If may be so bold with another question...what are the major differences between the 2.0 and the 3.0?
Which is the superior BTW ?..thanks.

    Differnce is only in paint and spec, spec wise the 2.0 is better

    most parts will fit.
