Either a big Peugeot from the 1990's, or more likely guessing a Garmin?
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

    £100?

If it has a full tank of petrol and a years tax and MOT then maybe. There are far better cars available though  .

I might sell it depending on how much I can get for it.

Would you accept a blue aerospoke front (tubular) wheel for it? Bearings aren't too good on it though...

It's super aero & super stylish! (worth £200 new)

It'll give you the same amount of drag as a £800+ deep-section carbon rim, but it's easier to control in the wind.

    You sure? :P

I'm positive, It would be a faf trying to sell it, I dont need deep section carbon rims to go fast I'll go fast one day through training.

I have access to a small wind tunnel in Liverpool through a friend who works there. The £800+ wheels i've tested in there are three different types of Zipp wheels. I've tested my Mavic Cosmics, a Spinergy Rev X and an Aerospoke. It's too small to test my full bike though :( as it's used primarily for the car industry who use very small (cheaper to produce) models/prototypes.

Your aero testing is useless then, wheels don't operate in isolation. But please publish your data here...

Your best bet is sticking it on eBay, you may get over £100 if you're lucky...

lbf drag coefficients for wheels during 32mph wind at zero degrees (headwind)

    Spinergy Rev X - 0.35682
    Zipp 404 - 0.37675
    Zipp 808 - 0.32281
    Zipp 1080 - 0.30037
    Aerospoke - 0.29080
    HED-3 - 0.25191
Old Rear Mavic Disc Wheel with cassette - 0.27477
    Mavic Cosmic Elite [23mm tyre] - 0.40745
    Mavic Cosmic Elite [20mm tyre] - 0.39883
    AlexRims S500 - 0.48261

I tested a few others too, as well as a couple of helmets but don't have the results with me.

On the basis that a '605' is 605x better than a '1', I'll give you £605 for it.

    Edit: not British Pounds

Are they worth it? I get board doing the same old routes and my club now has a route DB so i can download any route they have done.

And the description says no speed/cadence sensor but the pic shows speed :?:

Definately worth it for the navigation feature although unless you are riding brand new routes all the time, it could be considered a tad expensive. I got my 705 as part of a 20% off deal with my bike. Had a Polar CS600 which is an awesome HRM but obviously no GPS. Thought having the GPS would be a good upgrade for when I move to a new area this summer and thus all my routes will require navigating to begin with. I've found I've only used the nav feature on it twice since using it in my current, familar surrounds.

As for Speed/Distance, it comes from the GPS but is not as accurate (and can lose cioverage under tree canopy or built up areas) as the GSC 10 sensor.

The speed coming from the satelites was as accurate as my speedo on the bike, and most places it is fine, I cycle through the center of Manchester and the signal is still strong and it's pretty built up round there.

You get specific areas where the signal does drop out for about 10 meters.
  • If I had a Sheffield Utd season ticket I would swap that with the 605 (I still don't know what it is).
Maybe you could try to sell it in Rhyl?

How is it digging a hole?

It is the name of the product...

Anyone who asks what is, is clearly a lazy git.
