Derby to Skegness

Bit of a longshot, but just wondered if anyone has done this route, or from notts? Looked on tinternet and the only one I can find is dual carriageway pretty much all the way. Don't fancy that really, so any routes would be most appreciated!

    Goes from Alfreton,so probably best picked up in Newark.

    If you're a member of the CTC and want some company, Alfraton CTC run a ride to Skeggy in August and CTC Derby have an overnight ride each year to Anderby Bay (date to be confirmed)

    Ridden to Skeg several times, Got a long ride to Sutton-on-sea and back lined up for June 27th fish and chips at Waldo's and a milage of 180-200 miles for the day.
