easy climb/fast downhill/lancashire

HI all,can anyone suggest a ciircular route with a long steady climb and a fairly fast,moderately technical downhill within an hours drive from lancaster,if such a trail exists and you know about it your info would be greatly appreciated...cheers

Mmmmm... Rivington can be a good challenging climb and a rocky descent about 1.5mile long or so. If you are in Lancaster there should be quite a few routes in Lakes.
