Can you test one out? What are you riding at the minute and what do you think to it?

Never ridden Cannock, I ride mine in Yorkshire (Dalby, N.Y.Moors), Wales & Scotland usually

No bike will improve your riding, it could improve your enjoyment, only more riding and skills courses will improve your riding.

the 5 is a very capable bike for most terrain it's a bit much for pure XC and not burly enough for true DH, but it will take plenty of abuse & can weigh under 27lbs easily (mine is 28lb)

test one round Cannock if you camn to see if it's right for you

i ride a g/fisher big sur thats a bit pimped but i am a little on the wrong side of 18st and i think when going gets a bit rougher this then holds me back a bit as i am on my second frame after it cracked(replaced under warrenty)
