Making music from bike parts

I saw this guy on youtube (looked like a mad professor but seemed very cool) who was making music out of all sorts of things, and one of the things he experimented with was bikes and parts of them. Was quite interesting and I wondered if I could do the same.
I have been playing with Live 6, basically a music program, for a couple of years on and off. I've just used a recorder to sample some sounds from the bike and I will load them up and see what I can do.
I did this years back with a childs keyboard (you know the thing, yamaha psr range, and about 20 mini keys and some naff sounds) putting the sounds into an emu rack sampler I made some pretty weird electropop music, LOL.
Anyone here into making music?
