It never fails to amaze me. Every time I get a day off work..it rains.
I don't fancy riding out in it tbh...does anybody ride in the rain on purpose, apart from commuting?

Only if it's a club run, then I'll go out whatever the weather. Otherwise I'll stay in.0 -

I don't like riding in the rain much. I find I get cold too quickly. Don't mind the roads being wet cos my training bike has mud guards but if it's raining then I either go for a run or get the turbo trainer out instead. Yeah, yeah, I'm a big wuss. :roll:0

Know what you mean, went out for a couple of hours today in it and my legs just felt dead by halfway, not really from effort but just because they had chilled off so much.0

I always try and find my best hills when it looks like rain all day... there is something very rewarding about riding up lots of hard hills in the rain... might be cold and wet on the outside, but you get a warm smug feeling on the inside0

I gave in to the weather and played World of Warcraft all day (after I did some chores of course) 8)The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle. ...Stapp’s Ironical Paradox Law

I honestly don't understand what the big deal is with rain.
Ice, now that's another matter...0 -
Ice !!
I had a really nasty spill a couple of months ago during that cold snap.
Broke bits off my bike, tore up my cycling kit and was black & blue for a couple of weeks. Almost went under the 4WD that was un my 6 o'clock too.
Never ever again
I went out a couple of hours ago......1/2 mile from home...it started to rain ARGH!!
I persevered and did 22 milles. :roll:The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle. ...Stapp’s Ironical Paradox Law

I used to look at the raindrops on the window and think "Nah...".
I'd look at the wind bending the tops of the trees and think "Nah...".
Then I MTFU and now go out in anything (except ice... ).
Just get some raceblades if you don't fancy a wet ass, and a decent wet-weather jacket.Spring!
