Cam High Road on road bike?

As in title, anyone know if Cam High Road from Bainbridge to West Duerley Pasture south of Hawes is OK on a road bike? In my case a Cannondale six13 with 700 23C wheels and tyres.
I'm planning a loop from Buckden and will take a more northerly option if CHR is going to be too tough on the bike.
Edit: have researched this further and it's more suitable for cross bikes and mtb.
