A typical start to the long weekend, grey and about to rain, Saturday doesn't look too great either. But Sunday is supposed to be 16c with a 3mph wind - lovely!

It will be nice to get some shorts on again!

been off the bike for a few weeks (wed was first day out) so looking forward to a quick run at lunchtime today. 3 batches of hailstones in 18 miles but still enjoyed it! Now I'm back at my desk the sun is shining
  • Friday was a bright and sunny day in my part of Kent but I've been stuck at work all day today and her indoors keeps texting to say what a wonderful day it is out there!

    Can we fix it?
    Yes we can!

This morning had a heavy session on the cross trainer followed by a gentle 10 miles on the MTB.
Just completed another CT session and now I am farked.

Was planning a metric century ride Sunday but I'll take my chances on Monday.

    Cue the rain

That's one form of weather where I'll always take immediate cover. If you've ever been hit on that grisley (sp) part just in front of your lug-hole, you'll know why!

Not quite so bad is when a hailstone goes right into your ear without touching the sides - 'cos it's not coming back out again 'till it melts. Horrible sensation.

  • So much for Sunday being a good day

Tomorrow might be dry at least.

Sunday was good here, warm and very sunny 8)
  • Today is gorgeous here, but I spent most of my ride feeling sick, which is rubbish. Then my computer re-set itself and after 2 hours it read 3.2 miles, also rubbish!
