Ok, first post so Hi everyone!!!!........which of these two should i go for, the giant is going to cost me £175 more so in your honest and most humble opinion .....Which one.....

I'm going towards the commencal at the moment because there is such a big price difference

My budget is around £700- £1000 but I'd preffer the lower end of the scale, so if anyone has any other machines i can throw in the mix please feel free!!

I own an GT Avalanche 0.0 circa 2000 which has served me well and indeed continues to do so, but Id like a full susser for the gravity bits!!

The Giant seems a bit better specced. Longer travel too (if that is what you want)
