 These people are crazy, no wonder cyclists are hated by most car drivers. :x0

Way to give us all a bad name - 1st class cocks the lot of them.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -

Let's get a kebab and go to a disco."
FCN = 3 - 5
Colnago World Cup 20 -
you've got to laugh at the bit where the guy just misses the police car when he is cycling on the wrong side of the road :shock:0

I suppose I should say how dangerous it is and how it doesn't help the image of cyclists and blah blah blah... But the truth is I enjoyed watching that and I'm glad somebody made that video.
You don't see people watching Jackass and going "Oh dear, they're giving human pedestrians a bad name."
Just worry about the reputation you give yourself and stop fussing over whether the other X million cyclists are upholding your precious reputation.0 -

I bet this is linked on loads of anti-cycling sites!!!
Your correct. I bet the people in the video can't sleep at night at the thought of anti-cycling sites commenting on them (do these sites exist, or did you make them up?)0 -

That's the problem though isn't it, reputations aren't logical and individually based when it comes to groups. It only takes a few idiots to give the rest of us a bad name  [/b]0 -

I'm not convinced that someone watching this in Cardiff is going to tar you with the same brush as these guys.0 -
Unfortunately the few idiots are wide and plentififul - I would say the responsible cyclist is in the minority, but hopefully getting stronger and growing in numbers with every day that passes....!0

I bet these guys don't worry about much, they're idiots!
OK, there are plenty of pro-motoring sites where motorists rant about cyclists just as we rant about motorists. Which ever, it's all fodder for those that already hate cyclists.0 -

Unfortunately Cardiff has few cyclists (I see very few on my commute anyway), so I hope you are right as we are easy pickings...0 -
If you think that looked scary (I do) you should see North Sydney cyclists. They are heroic, plus Sydney and NSW generally is a hostile environment. The older I get the faster I was0

Personally, when I'm out cycling I don't really care whether you guys are all giving me a bad name or whether I'm giving you a bad name or any of that stuff. I'm just trying to get home (or to work) and that's as far as my thoughts really go apart from debating what I might have for dinner.
All this stuff about who's giving who a bad name just makes me facepalm. It amounts to the same thing as keeping up with the Joneses - basically worrying what other people think of you when you should just be getting on with life.0 -

That film was made in the early hours and at much slower speed than it appears. The sound track gives much of the impression of speed but it doesn't belong to the car with the camera on it. And, of course, that film was made almost 40 years ago.......Faster than a tent.......0 -
@GTV - just beenable to watch that as am now home... a lot of that is my old commute, sad thing is that a few years ago, with the exception of riding to the right of oncoming traffic I'd have thought nothing of doing exactly the same if I was in a rush.
Needless to say I have now learnt the error of my ways! :oops:0 -
I can't help but admire the bravado, but still wish they had all been ivolved in very painful collisions with immovable objects.
Surprised to see a lot of them had freewheels, I guess fixed wasn't as de rigueur in 2006.0
