Is it all open - trails ,freeride etc?
Thinking of going there at some point over the easter break.
Is it true that it is open only weekends at the mo - have seen conflicting information on the net!

Yes still there, but broken chain on one side. my mate tried to ride it twice and fell both times the second time he face butted the second plank and split his lip!!!..........I decided to give it a miss

I was there on good friday with a few people, had a great time. There is some great singletrack interspersed with some fireroad and some climbing. the freeride area is good fun, there is some techy north shore. I washed out my front wheel on the berm to berm north shore bit and hit my face on a tree stump but its all part of the fun. Careful if its damp cos its not got chicken wire on. Also the cafe is excellent.

Careful though if you're driving there cos parking is £7.50!

resurrecting an old post here as I didnt manage to get down to Bedgebury at Easter...

Is the Wanda's Trail a completely separate trail or part of the existing singletrack. From reading a few sites and watching videos on the www, i cant work out if there are now 2 trails or a new section to the existing one.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks

hey mate, wandas trail is a new section to the existing trail. its ok, theres a few jumps in it which are annoying as you can get anywhere near enough speed to get any air time! theres another new section which hasnt got a name which isnt too bad, but watch out for the hidden tree stumps! my pedal took a full on frontal hit on a tree stump about 6 inches high that had weeds surrounding/disguising it. luckily the pedal survived or id have been well annoyed!

Went on Sunday - was a good trail let. Just wish all the waymarkers were there - i met quite a few people as well a me who were not sure where the trail went next. Really enjoyed the freeride area - nice to have different difficulty graded sections too.
