hey guys just joined the forum
im just getting back into biking ive been out for about 7 years now ever since i bought a car and got fat and lazy!
anyways bought my self a Kona Stinky 2 years ago and only recenly been using it in llandegla in Wales and i've officially got the bug again!!
quick question.....my mates cant catch me in the berms an things but on the flats they catch me easy, whats the best way to train to speed up?

Best way to increase speed would be to increas muscles, ie train in a higher gear, or stanima train in a lower gear at a higher cadenceCotic Soul

Yeah stronger legs and a higher gear are ultimately best, but if your mates have hardtails or rear lock out they might be getting more power down, I'd have a play with my rear shock to balance handling and efficency,-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
