    Brilliant link. I've been browsing the images for ages now. Why do we waste the white paint / taxpayers' money on these surreal cycle lanes designed only to bring the cyclist into abrupt conflict with vehicles / pedestrians / trees / railings etc?

    I do like the Dutch canal-side cycle lane though

    October 06 - Coventry's bid for the Olympics made me howl - how do these people get jobs designing these lanes - it defies belief.

    +1 for the Dutch one - could be a new classic watching the pro peloton in the wet on there.
