Hello,
i see some special offers on the Giant xtc range of mountain bikes. any views / opinions on them? xtc 4 seems like a good starter bike. i am looking for a good hardtail xc trail bike at the moment but iam torn between xtc4/3 compared to the new spesh rockhopper disc.
any feedback appreciated

Hi after trying a number of different bikes I bought myself a XTC frame for the starting point of general xc bike [you can see pics of it elsewhere in the forum] I like the geometry and build qualityof the frame,however bikes/frames are very much a personnel thing,so if at all poss please try and ride both the giant and specialized and go for the one that feels best for you,Hope this is of some help to you good luck!!!!0
