Anyone out in the NW tomorrow, Lancs or Dales?
TT, what about you?
The weather looks sunny but windy in the afternoon, and a bit moist in the morning.

MFC. I'll be out, but only later on. I've got to work till 10AM. Was thinking of going over to Rivington after that. Get there approx 11.30. Any use to you?
Phone/text if interested.Frank Yates0 -

Me and a friend should be riding Rivington, not sure on the time though, probably around 6pm as have uni in the morning.
Topsey - you haven't been in Blackpool Fylde College, have you? Weirdly on username list to log onto computer network your nickname comes up alongside mine. :shock:0 -
Blackpool Fylde College? Dear me no. When I was school age that was Blackpool Tech, and the University of Central Lancs was the Harris Technical College, based solely in Preston without all the fancy campuses (campii?) that exist nowadays.
I was planning to be out tomorrow, but my customers have changed their holidays, so I'll be working till gone lunch. No riding for me I'm afraid. Kirkby Stephen for 30 miles of hardtailing on Saturday is next.Frank Yates0 -
You want to be careful, hard tailing it up Stephen! Make sure you wear your hat!
If my plan comes off, I'll not be out tomorrow either. I'm hoping to sell my Kinesis in the morning and then have a drive over to Halifax to a purchase something.....
Might go out in the evening though!0 -
Halifax? Any special colour?
I always use my helmet when hard tailing!!!Frank Yates0 -

Which particular "apple" are you going for?Frank Yates0

I've got my eye on the SubZero, but first I need to sell my 18" Kinesis to a 6'2" chap I know, which might be an issue, so I'm trying not to get too excited!0
-
I'm 6'2" and very nearly bought a Kinesis a few months back. Never even considered a medium. Good luck.Frank Yates0

Ah yes, I'd forgotten that.
Just had a look at the SubZero. Looks a good price; pity it's too small for me!!!Frank Yates0 -
Speaking of Kinesis and Apple Green, i'm in the process of building this up
Also 6.2 but will be getting a medium 18". Want something a bit more throwable than my current 20.5" frame, and a lower top tube.
Mancunian - you going out to Rivi in the evening?0 -
Nice, single speed?
I'm not sure if/where I'll be out tomorrow. It all depends on how my day goes.
If I get the new bike, I'll probably stay more local and mess about with seat positions etc.
I'll let you know!0 -

Yup, it will be a SS!
Should be a light build too. Olympic rims on hope 2 hub, racing ralphs, carbon seat post + bars, light seat, deus XC stem, 2009 RS SID race (white), etc etc.0
