Gasping for breath, back crumbling under the strain, as I struggle over a big hill - I console myself that this fine tuning will make more attractive to the ladies .....

But now I m 45 and bald - does it work ? - in your experience

Yes! My GF thinks that I 'look lovely' in my kit (Celeste kit to match the Bianchi), and always comments on how good my legs look in lycra! She does say the tan lines are odd though... :D

  • Yes, because otherwise i'd be about 18 stone by now.

And lycra + shaven legs = irresistible. I've never had so much female attention until I punctured outside a country pub one summer. Lots of attractive 30+ women (bored housewives?) telling me they were sure they had a repair kit somewhere in their garage if I fancied going round for a look.

I rang my mum for a lift instead

+1 on that. Old age I think also plays a part. Of course that doesn't mean that the ladies
aren't noticing you a bit more than the average "Joe".

For me its what got my wife to notice me :D
That was a few years a ago but it was my legs she was first
  • Yes cycling gets me laid more often. I use my bike to knock over my victims. It also helps me to get away from the police faster.

Yes I've had compliments on my bum since I started cycling. Those glutes definitely get a work out!

    its all relative.

compared to doing nothing & becoming a fat b@stard - maybe

compared to playing premier league football - probably not.
